From Bluetooth to UNESCO
Trelleborg is part of the world heritage

What is UNESCO World Heritage?
In the wake of the destruction of World War II, the UN decided to take action to preserve cultural heritage. This led to what we now know as UNESCO's World Heritage List. Today, the list includes more than a thousand sites that have been selected as representatives of the world's most unique natural and cultural sites.
World Heritage Sites in Denmark and Greenland
Denmark now has 12 World Heritage Sites, of which the ring forts are a serial nomination included on UNESCO's World Heritage List: The Five Ring Forts; Aggersborg, Fyrkat, Nonnebakken, Borgring, and Trelleborg. In addition, Roskilde Cathedral, the Jelling Monuments, Kronborg, Stevns Klint, Møns Klint, the Wadden Sea, Christiansfeld, the Parforce Hunting Landscapes in North Zealand, and in Greenland Ilulissat, Kujataa, and Aasivissuit – Nipisat.
